DermaMed Solutions helps spa owners, dermatologists, plastic surgeons and other skincare and medical professionals expand their practices to include additional services.
Entrepreneur Roger Parkin founded our company in 1998. Inspiration came when an aesthetician suggested he develop a quieter microdermabrasion machine. The result was MegaPeel®. Besides being quieter than similar devices, our microdermabrasion system was smaller, was easier to use and reduced troublesome vibrations.
Over the next 13 years, Roger introduced more skincare equipment and products, including:

- DermaYAG Laser for laser hair removal and other applications
- dmSkincare™ professional skincare products
- MegaPeel® Microdermabrasion
A Holistic Vision
In 2011 Mark Pinsley and Ginger Hodulik assumed leadership of DermaMed Solutions. Mark Pinsley, president, draws upon his 20+ years in marketing, technology and entrepreneurship to oversee general management, sales and marketing for the company. Ginger Hodulik, VP of research and development, is a Certified Nutrition Specialist with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nutrition. Her focus will be on new product innovation and development through research on incorporating the latest scientific advances in skincare and nutrition into our product offerings.
Mark and Ginger are building upon the foundation that Roger established by expanding the product line and introducing science-based skincare regimens for targeted treatment of various skin types and conditions. As a result, DermaMed Solutions will enable a holistic, customized approach to creating healthy, beautiful skin that incorporates:
- Aesthetic equipment
- Professional skincare products
- Wellness regimens and protocols (e.g. dietary and lifestyle recommendations and supplements)
About Mark Pinsley, President
Mark Pinsley has over 20 years of professional experience in product innovation and marketing. His background includes success with both entrepreneurial start-ups, and with multi-national corporations.
Pinsley’s career in product innovation began upon his graduation from Northeastern University. In the highly-charged atmosphere of Boston’s high-teach boom in the 1990s, Pinsley launched Dunbarton Business Software and raised angel funding from investors on three continents, to develop new electronic commerce products. Pinsley built the business over three years, and grew Dunbarton by developing relationships with a number of large national brand leaders, including MCI, Ocean Spray, and Nabisco.Prior to acquiring DermaMed Solutions in July 2011 with his business partner, Pinsley was the Global Director of Product Management for DSM Personalized Nutrition, in their DSM Innovation Center, which was the hub of the corporation’s $70 million per year investment in Emerging Business Areas. Pinsley successfully integrated behavioral science methodologies as well as nutrition and web-based tools to commercialize a scientifically robust corporate wellness offering, DSM Personalized Nutrition, delivering measurable changes in employee’s engagement levels in wellness counseling and their commitment to making healthy life choices.
His career continued with Inforonics Global Services, the company that acquired Dunbarton, where Pinsley was the Vice President for Sales and Marketing.
Pinsley was hired by one of his clients, aviation services giant Aviall, as Vice President of Marketing and Product Development in its Inventory Locator Service (ILS) division (now a division of Boeing). ILS provided an electronic supply chain that enabled aviation, maritime and defense business to buy and sell parts, equipment and services.
In 2004, Pinsley was owner and President of Adaco Services, a developer and marketer of procurement and operational controls software to the hospitality industry.
Pinsley received his BSBA in Finance from Northeastern University, and his MBA from Indiana University Kelley School of Business. A member of the Marketing Executive Network Group, Pinsley is also a member of Robin Hood Ventures, a group of angel investors focused on early-stage, high-growth companies in the Greater Philadelphia region
About Ginger Hodulik, Vice President
Ginger Hodulik brings extensive education and training in clinical nutrition and a growing expertise in the connections between skin health and nutrition, to DermaMed Solutions.
One of her goals for the company is to expand DermaMed Solutions products to incorporate nutrition, and grow the availability of the company’s products worldwide. She focuses on researching the latest scientific advances in skincare, and incorporating them into DermaMed’s “whole-istic” approach.
Prior to acquiring DermaMed Solutions in July 2011 with her business partner, Hodulik was a Nutrition Program Manager at DSM Nutritional Products. She collaborated on a worksite health and wellness program, the Global Personal Nutrition System, where she developed nutrition and behavioral modification protocols and programming for a workplace wellness program which served over 8,000 members.
Previously, Hodulik’s career background includes over 10 years in the Human Resources field, where she gained invaluable experience with benefits plan design and program implementation.
Hodulik earned her BS degree in Foods and Nutrition, as well as her Master’s degree in Nutrition, from the College of Saint Elizabeth (Convent Station, New Jersey). She also holds a Certified Nutrition Specialist designation from the American College of Nutrition. Her professional affiliations include the American College of Nutrition, the Certification Board for Nutrition Specialists, the American Nutrition Association, the Alliance for Natural Health USA, and the Center for Nutrition Advocacy. She also serves on the Legislative Outreach Committee for the Certification Board for Nutrition Specialists.
A popular public speaker on a variety of nutrition topics, Hodulik has presented to a variety of organizations nationally over the past few years. Her subjects have included nutrition for healthy skin; natural skincare products; wellness program engagement strategies; health coaching; behavior change strategy; the critical role of vitamin D in health and cancer prevention; and nutrition for women (particularly during peri-menopause and menopause).
